Property: This Big Sky Vacation Rental was perfect for our group--2 parents, 2 teenagers, and 2 additional teenager friends! The location was perfect...easy to get in and out, which is often not the case in advertised rentals. The home was clean and had all necessary amenities--fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and hot tub. We are looking forward to our trip next year already!

Property: This place was perfect for my extended family get together. The ski-in/out was a little tough because of all of the fresh snow and flat ground, but definitely a good problem to have. A word of warning, the driveway on this unit is really steep, so you need a 4wd vehicle just to get up and down.

Property Manager: Very Responsive. Appreciated the call the night we checked in just to make sure everything was ok. Offered to come show us around but it wasn't needed. Had one problem with garbage disposal and someone came to fix it asap. Had to extend one night due to flight change and it was handled easily and promptly. Property: Cheif Gull 3 was spotless on arrival. Had everything needed for two families of 4 for a 9 day stay. Used the hot tub once, the fireplace once, the grill a few times. Kitchen had all the cookware and dishware we needed. Beds were comfortable. Property was exactly as advertised. Stayed in the summer so I have no comments on the ski in/ski out capabilities but I would love to come in the winter and would choose the same cabin. Big Sky Vacation Rentals staff was responsive and helped us stay an extra night when out flight changed. Great Cabin and experience. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this was the only time my wife hasn't complained and started cleaning as soon as we got there.

Property: My family and I stayed 5 nights in Big Sky during July and absolutely enjoyed it! The cabin is really a house which can easily accommodate 2 families. It was very clean and well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed several days around Big Sky and several days in Yellowstone. The only thing I did not like about Cabin 3 was the steep driveway which I can't imagine parking on with snow. My husband did not have a problem with it. We definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in the area.

Property Manager: All members with whom I communicated were friendly and most helpful. Property: The stay was wonderful...a great home for our family to share and experience Big Sky. The home was perfectly laid out for fellowship and completely stocked. Our only negative was the ski in and ski out. It was very difficult to locate to get home...my husband got lost and was eventually picked up by a caring Big Sky employee!!! Everything else was perfect!

Property: Fantastic Family Luxury Cabin- Great mix of luxury and rustic mountain charm. Cabin and kitchen were very well furnished. Only drawback to giving 5 stars was that the ski in ski out was more difficult to navigate and time consuming than expected. Very difficult to find way back to cabin first few times. (would not work well for tweens on their own) We skied over Easter and lift lines and crowds were never an issue. Management company was great to deal with.

Used the propane grill and hot tub several times. Ski out is from the back yard down to the white otter lift very easy access. Returning home skied right to front door. In house washer and dryer for mid week laundry. Had a great time.

Property: A very nice and comfortable house in a beautiful location- We loved this place. The owner is very organized and considerate, gave us a lot of good advises and detailed instructions, even offered to do grocery shopping for us before our arrival. The house is very clean, kitchen is clean and adequate. The bedrooms are spacious and the living room and dining area are lovely. 10-12 people can easily stay in this house comfortably The location is convenient, we had awesome experience in horseback riding. We went to the Yellowstone National Park and had a great time.

Property: It is a very spacious house located in the Big Sky by the Lone Mountain close to Yellowstone National Park. The house is big enough for 10-12 people comfortable, good facilities and everything is updated. Very clean.

Property: Let me just say what a wonderful property- wonderful people- wonderful time. An incredible birthday week. We had three boys ranging in ages 6-11 and the mountain offered so much for them to do. They fished, hiked, did cross bow, zipline - you name it. Kristin, Mike and Kris were wonderful with every detail of the property and the activities. Our personal chef Robin prepared amazing dinners and a birthday cake!!! And of course Kevin was absolutely amazing, taking our boys on all kinds of adventures. Thank you SO MUCH for an incredible vacation!!!!!!

Property: cabins were in excellent condition with all the items needed for a short or an extended stay. cabins were clean and the kitchens were equipped with enough utensils and cookware. we did the zip line and took the chair lift up and all were fun and priced appropriately. we ate pizza at the blue moon bakery and it was outstanding. the spring-rolls at the lotus pad were excellent. we also had lunch at the lone peak brewery and it was very good as well. overall it was a hit with everyone and it was a 10 . thank you!

Property Manager: Prompt and knowledgeable! Property: Great house! Felt larger than the square footage for our 4 adults and 2 kids. Bedrooms and baths were great! Kitchen had just enough of everything. We loved having a house where the kids could play outside in the snow. Ski in/ski out was great. Ski in was a little tricky at first, and when taking the proposed directions, very flat with too much traversing (even for those of us in our group who are fit). The access trail directly off of the first exit for Powder Ridge Cabins was WAY easier!!! Taking that made both skiing in and out a breeze, requiring only minimal traversing/walking.

Coming from a family who has vacationed in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan, and other places out of our country, we were thrilled with Big Sky. We had never been to Montana before and had been wanting to tour the national parks with our kids for the past few years. We booked this house months ago and it was perfect for the 4 adults, 2 teens and 4 kids that we had in our group. We spent 4 days here and hated to leave. Some of the summer activities that we enjoyed were several hikes, zip lining at Big Sky Resort (just down the hill), white water rafting on the Gallatin River and 4th of July festivities. Each day was spent outside with nearly perfect weather. We loved coming home to soak in the hot tub (evenings got cooler) and relax around the fire pit. All of the amenities were great in the house. We found it to be clean and comfortable. It was nice that the family room had several blankets strewn about. I loved taking a rocking chair out on the front porch each morning with a blanket and my coffee. So peaceful! We had 2 foxes visit us, a couple of deer but the highlight was a mama moose and her baby!! They literally walked right out in front of us! We kept our distance but they were magnificent! Overall we easily give this Big Star VRBO 5 stars! And coming in the summer cost a fraction of what this house would have cost at peak ski season! This summer loving girl was happy!! :)

We had a group of 6 adults and 6 kids.... the house functioned great for our group. Music system set up to play on house speakers inside and out through your phone. We had a box of games delivered for the kids, which was great. The hot tub and the grill was a nice bonus. We used Hungry Moose food delivery service, and I cannot recommend them enough! Amazing service... direct from owner. Ski out was great... ski in a bit challenging with young kids, but we got the hang of it by end of week... got the kids poles for the flat sections then it was a breeze. Would totally recommend this property management group.... they were fantastic to work with.

Enjoyed our visit. Biggest attraction is the property is professionally managed and not owner manged . The property managers are prompt, professional and responsive. So no having to deal with cranky unreasonable owners who generally have no clue about property management issues.

Our experience with the property was fabulous. We had a wonderful time..The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. The cabin was very nicely furnished and decorated, and well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone headed that direction.

I wanted to bring my family out to Big Sky for their first time skiing in the mountains, so I checked out VRBO. I was amazed at how easy it was to find somewhere to stay and how accurate the descriptions and pictures were! We chose this PowderRidge cabin and it was absolutely AMAZING! The cabin was immaculate (inside and out) and had absolutely everything we needed to stay for the week. The view was fantastic-and I was in awe every morning to see the beautiful, breathtaking mountains right outside my bedroom window. The kitchen contained all the utensils we needed to prepare all of our meals, and the washer and dryer, attached garage and boot dryers were definitely a fantastic plus. We were able to just walk down the driveway and put on our skis to ski down to the lift to get over to the base of the mountain if we wanted to, but we were also less than a 5 minute drive away over to the resort where there was plenty of free parking available. (This was easier for those who were just learning to ski.) The day we checked in, Kris met us at the cabin to show us everything we needed to know, and the rest of the time we just enjoyed ourselves. After skiing all day, the hot tub was such a luxury to enjoy and I can't even think of anything more we could have needed. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and I am definitely planning another trip to stay there again next year!!

We had a wonderful stay here. We were a group of six. Main level open floor plan is ideal for large groups gathering with kitchen open to dining/living room. Furnishings are both beautiful and comfortable. Privacy between upper master suites. Hot tub is in a convenient location, offering open views of the night sky. Management company is well-organized and provides a concierge level service.

This is an excellent get away property for those looking for ski in and out accessibility. Easy to trail to the lift and easy trail down from the slopes to the back patio. Like previous reviews, the pictures do not do this place justice. We loved the place for it's cleanliness, up to date decor, amenities (like surround sound, ipod compatibility, hot tub, wood burning place - stocked with wood, direct tv, etc.), and really the service from the property manager! I'm actually a little hesitant about writing this review, as like Big Sky, the less people know about it the better!

Our family of six stayed at this house for eight days over Christmas. This was our third winter staying in various Powder Ridge Cabins, and this cabin had fantastic amenities: great ski in/out access, an attached garage (a huge plus!), a boot/glove dryer and ski racks in the garage, an indoor mudroom for taking off boots/wet clothes, a nicely maintained outdoor hot tub, a Wii system, plenty of wood for the fireplace, among other things. In terms of pots/pans/utensils, the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have stayed in. We had no problem making a large Christmas dinner and Christmas cookies in the kitchen. The property management company made our stay very comfortable. When an issue came up it was immediately addressed, and they arranged for a decorated Christmas tree in the living room. The owner of the house did a really nice job of decorating for the holidays. We will definitely consider renting this cabin again when we go back to Big Sky next year.

We were beyond pleased with this home! It was nicer than the pictures--loved the ranch-style decor! The stay was made even nicer by all the activities there are in Big Sky--my children weren't ready to leave. Highly recommend this property as well as this responsive and professional management company.

A group of 3 couples and our four children stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. It is very close to the resort area and we took the kids swimming at Huntley Lodge every day we were there. We also zip-lined and went on some awesome mountain bike rides. As for the lodge, the decor is very nice and the furniture comfortable. The ability to play our ipod in any part of the house was perfect especially when hanging out by the hot-tub and barbequing. Very well stocked kitchen and dining area perfect for visiting, eating and cooking. The management company was extremely helpful and responsive helping us with a pack and play as well as a high chair. We highly recommend this property.
