In summer, step outside your door to hike or bike the beautiful Moonlight Basin trail system. The home sits perched above the Ulerys Lake and the floor-to-ceiling windows invoke the feeling of viewing the world from a luxurious treehouse. An eagle's nest is nearby and it is not unusual to view these majestic birds from your private perch in the trees.
In Winter, use the Jayhawk chairlift located steps from the front door.
Whether you are curling up, après-ski or entertaining friends and family, this perfectly-appointed, designer-owned mountain-modern home will exceed your expectations. It is stocked to anticipate your every need and sits squarely at the intersection of “family-friendly” and “beautifully designed”. This property is ski-in/ski-out to both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Resorts, for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Lift start date varies, but typically early to mid December. No access until lifts open.
Ski Out:
Step out the front door and put your skis on at the end of the driveway. Ski left down the road about 75 yards (slightly sloped downward) to the Jayhawk Lift. To the right of the lift, ski Dodgeball down and you will be right in the Madison Base. During periods of melting, the road will not be skiable and you will be required to walk to the lifts to ski out.
Ski In:
Ski any run you wish down to the Madison Base. Walk over to the Jayhawk Lift. Ride Jayhawk back up and walk left about 75 yards back to the home.

The property and stay were great. We had a bit of an issue with the oven during our stay and the team fixed it the same day which was great. Also, the cutting board and the gift basket were a great touch. Made us feel special as BSVR repeat clients.

I don't think we have ever stayed in a rental home where the "actual home" was even better than the pictures and property description. We had a wonderful week hiking, biking, golfing, horseback riding, etc. some great meals at Horn and Cantle and Three Forks. Thanks for the tip about Gourmet Gals-it made our first night so relaxing. The home was stunningly beautiful, clean, well organized with great kitchenware. The location could not have been more convenient or more scenic. We noticed some water leaking in the storage area and called the property manager. They arrived to inspect it within an hour of our call. The only suggestion I will offer is that the check out instructions were confusing. The emailed instructions and the one on the QR code differed from the email sent the night before checkout. We hope we did it right!

The Big Sky was great to work with and was extremely responsive in responding to questions I had before and during our rental. The staff provided great details on what to expect in advance of our rental and during our rental. Kudos to your entire team, they made our rental easy and stress-free. This home was exceptional! The property exceeded our expectations and was perfectly maintained and felt brand-new. The layout of the property combined with the wonderful decorating made it perfect from our perspective. The views along with the amenities make this a top-notch rental unit.

Property Manager: Very good experience. Check in / check out was seamless. Property: The home is truly spectacular. Amazing views. The decor and attention to detail was beyond what we had expected and even better than the pictures. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything we could possibly need (great for entertaining).
