Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
Step out the front door and walk left 30 feet to ski Natawista . Take the bridge on the left onto Smithy. Ski down and veer right at the fork continuing on Natawista which will take you right to the Madison Base.
Ski In:
From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, ski down Powder River Run. You will go through the concrete tunnel and past the first skier bridge on your right. Take a hard right turn on Natawista which is the first right after the bridge. Turn left onto the next skier bridge and take an immediate right to stay on Natawista. Ski to your front door when you see your home to the right.

MMH 7 Bull Dogger
Outstanding! We have stayed in a number of really nice mountain rentals, but this is our favorite. This house was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Having three floors with bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, plus an additional half bath, is a really nice layout that allows for privacy and gives everyone his/her own space. Community areas are comfortable and workable. Views are spectacular! We saw a moose and a fox, along with gorgeous mountain scenery. There is a lot of natural light (with shades for privacy at night), as well as bright LED lighting throughout. Lighted showers and lighted mirrors in each bathroom are a nice touch. The hot tub was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace ambiance, bedding was comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the deck was spacious with a nice grill and furniture. It was great to have wooded privacy on the side of the deck with the hot tub. Customer service was outstanding prior to and during our stay. Dining recommendations couldn't have been better. Ousel & Spur Pizza Co was delicious, as was the bar menu in Horn & Cantle. The atmosphere in both was casual but upscale. Montana is gorgeous and we loved our hikes and drives along the Gallatin River and into Yellowstone Park. It was a wonderful vacation - thank you to our hosts!

Outstanding!
We have stayed in a number of very nice mountain rentals, but this one is our favorite! Beautiful setting, view, spacious, well appointed, comfortable, a lot of natural light (but shades for privacy at night), cool lighted mirrors in all bathrooms, lighted showers, bright LED ceiling lighting throughout, very clean. The layout is amazing - 3 floors, all with bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, plus a separate half bath. The kitchen is well appointed, bedding is comfortable, fireplaces create a nice ambiance. Beautiful, clean, spacious hot tub and a wooded area on the side of the deck with the hot tub. Spectacular views from inside and out! The home was just perfect!! Great location to get to the ski lift. Loved that the house was at the end of the road so there was never any traffic going by the house. Decorated lovely, well stocked kitchen. Tons of space for 6 people.

We had a wonderful stay at this absolutely beautiful home, which was truly a ski in-ski out property. The mountain vistas were breathtaking, the home was spacious and well-appointed, and the rooms were comfortable and luxurious. The hot tub was easy to operate and the heated padding was a nice touch! This will be the first property I look at for my next trip to Big Sky. I will definitely be back!

The website to view the properties and book our stay was very user friendly. Email communications throughout the process were very helpful. The house was even nicer than represented in the pictures. Very clean and well stocked kitchen/ linens/towels. We loved the deck and hot tube with great views. We'd stay here again.
