Great Family Vacation Spot
We spent our first Big Sky trip at 35 White Otter and it was fabulous. The cabin is warm and cozy, but spacious enough for our party of 8 with room left over. The views were great, the ski lift convenient, and had all the amenities needed for long days of skiing and nights of family meals and rousing card games. We hope to return to continue enjoying everything Big Sky has to offer.

Property Manager: Everyone was so nice and very accommodating! Property: Our stay at 35 white Otter was amazing! The cabin was gorgeous, super clean and had all the amenities needed. The cabin was very spacious for our whole group where everyone could fine a place to chillax after a long day of skiing or join together at the long dinning table for evening games. The inside was very cozy and comfortable, and the wrapping deck had such a beautiful view!

Property: Our stay at 35 White Otter was fabulous! The cabin was equipped with everything we could possibly need during our 13 day stay. We appreciated the initial visit from one of your staff to show us where things were and to answer any questions we had. The views from the cabin, of Lone Peak, and of Big Sky Village and the surrounding area were phenomenal. It was a joy to wake up the that view each morning. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, we liked the body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the showers, and the lotion was a nice touch too. We used the fireplace in the great room a couple of evenings, and enjoyed the gas fireplace downstairs as well. We enjoyed reading out on the deck on the sunny afternoons. All in all, our experience was excellent. We would love to return.

Property: Perfect Mountain Retreat- Stayed at this home during the last week of skiing at Big sky in April 2016 with a group of girlfriends. This home is a fantastic place for a few families or a group of adult friends. The loft upstairs is a perfect place for the kids to hang out and sleep, or a quiet get away from the larger group to rest. There is a nice deck with plenty of seating overlooking Big Sky resort. The outdoor hot tub is situated under several beautiful pine trees and it's the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes with the snow gently falling. The kitchen is well-appointed, plenty of TV's if you like to stay tuned in and fast, reliable wi-fi to stay connected. You can ski in/out or make a short 1/2 block walk on a paved road to the base of the White Otter lift to begin and end your ski day. We skied in and out the whole week, coming back for lunch every day at the house. It's really convenient. Love this house and hope to return some day!

Property: Best family ski vacation ever- The cabin/home we stayed in was beautiful and functional. We could walk or ski to the lift. Big Sky/Moonlight is awesome - no need to go to Colorado ever again - no lift lines after the initial morning rush... powder, it was first runs all day long if you looked for them! Terrain for every ability.

Property: Perfect location and easy with the family. We were looking for the perfect ski in/out location that our teenagers could come and go as needed throughout the day. We found it at White Otter #35. We left each morning and as a group and then able to split off and meet back for lunch and at the end of the day. We never had to worry! Plus the cabin is a perfect size for big family breakfasts and dinners and you can't beat the amazing views. I highly recommend.

Property: Great Family/ Group Accommodations! My family (2 kids and husband) meet 2 other families at this rental house. We loved it! There was space for everyone to hang out, play games, cook, and quiet time. It was a ski in and ski out so we could come back for lunch. My daughter and husband could head in early for the day and hot tub while my son and I could stay out in ski longer.. The place was very clean and gorgeous! I loved the deck on a sunny day or for early morning coffee. Must stay here if going to Big Sky with a large family or a group.

Property: Awesomen location!! We were able to ski in/out. The base area is only a quick care ride or tolerable walk away. The cabin is beautiful and homey. We were so comfortable there we had a hard time finding a reason to leave after a day of skiing. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a highlight. We had a large group and everyone fit nicely. Definitely recommend, we hope to return again next year and the next and the next.

Thank you for making this such a simple and relaxing experience, and providing the space for me to organize a satisfying and successful retreat for our team., Property : The cabin was large enough for the team to feel like they had their own space while cultivating moments of relaxation and plenty of space for team bonding and work brainstorming and planning. The site was beautiful, and we loved how short the drive to the Beehive Basin Trailhead was. As college students, we also appreciated the short drive back to Bozeman on Sunday afternoon. Proximity was key for our team to feel relaxed and focused during the retreat.

Fun place to stay. Overall a cool place to stay. If you're a snowboarder you're going to want to keep speed up on the way back. We had the most luck with getting to the top of the white otter lift and following it back. You will have to go over a road and may have to skate a bit, but it wasn't bad. Everyone had a good time and said they'd rent it again.

In short, I would gladly stay at this property again. This lodge had everything my group needed for a great ski vacation. We were a five-minute walk to the nearest ski lift, and the lift ticket and rental equipment delivery services allowed us to skip the lines. When you're not on the mountain, the lodge has a fantastic fireplace, living room, and hot tub. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy and user-friendly. Finally, the rental agency that manages this property contacted me about four hours before this advertised check-in time to let us know that the property cleaning was complete and ready for check-in. This small detail is indicative of a company that will take the extra step to ensure its residents have the best possible stay.

This cabin off the edge of White Otter couldn't have been better. We had 2 families and there was more than enough room. We were able to walk to end of culd-a-sac and put our skis on and get right on the lift. Very clean, plenary of kitchen supplies to cook every night. Just an over all great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, with lots of room. Fireplace worked great, and we spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the view. Hot tub was terrific after a couple long hikes. There is so much to do at Big Sky in the summer - now we need to get back in the winter!

This property is so beautiful and the location was great. A short walk to the white otter lift, had to walk back at times because of the trails. We had powder the entire time and couldn't ask for better conditions. The driveway is very steep and I would suggest 4 whee drive. Since there was so much snow the week we stayed we found ourselves shoveling just to get out of the driveway. Thanks again for the great stay! We would stay there again.

This house was great for a large group - lots of space, big hot tub, a 3min walk or quick ski down the hill to White Otter chair lift, and beautiful views! Big Sky Vacation Rentals was accommodating and super friendly. Wood burning fireplace was also a nice touch! 5 stars for a great deal and location, 4 stars for comfort. Would recommend to a large group or two families looking for a ski getaway that doesn't break the bank! We will be back!

We stayed at this home for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect! Luckily for us it snowed the whole time we were visiting. Having the ability to walk about 100 yards down the toad to the nearest lift was great. We will definitely come back!

Wow! What a great place to stay!! The cabin was very clean and felt like home. Nothing so perfect you felt like you couldn't use it but very nice. My family stayed there for 9 days and 8 nights. We had a blast! You are just about one hour from Yellowstone Park, very easy drive. The two small towns nearby made for easy shopping and dining out. I would tell him to stop by a larger grocery store on your way to the cabin though, just to get the things you truly want. The deck out back of the cabin was perfect to sit and enjoy nature as its best. Every night a small herd of deer would be grazing by the cabin. We also had a fox drop by one night, a wolf followed the deer up the hill one evening and a moose come by around 6 am. The fox and the wolf were within 20 yards of the cabin and the moose was grazing about 25 feet from the back deck and was easier watched from the dining area window. The deer seemed to be use to people and would slow move from the lower part of the canyon to the top of the hill were the cabin sits. You could watch them for hours. The cabin itself is very clean and could easily sleep 13 people, the bathrooms are nice and clean, and well stocked. The kitchen as everything you will need to cook. It was just about like being in your own home but with the most amazing view of the ski slopes and the forest. I must warn you about the drive up to the cabin after you leave the highway from Bozeman, watch the road because between 6:30am and 11:00am you are most likely going to cross a herd of long horn mountain sheep. I counted about 5 rams and 2 ewes, they graze along the road and traffic will not spook them. Just slow down. We spent two days fly fishing with " Wild Trout Outfitters" takes about 20 mins to drive to their shop from the cabin and they treated us like kings. Call and ask for JD, he will take care of your fishing trip. The guide named "Sam"took us on the great fishing trip. My son(16y/o) who had never fly fished before was a pro in just two days. He caught more fish than me and his Grandfather. I want to say, 22 trout in two days. It was amazing to watch him have so much fun. We also spent a day with "Montana Whitewater" it takes about 35 mins to drive to their location. We had an wonderful time rafting and zip lining with them. Plus they have a great little food truck on location. Amazing people, you will love every exciting minute of the fun. I am looking forward to my next trip there!

We stayed here in July. The house itself was exactly what we wanted. It was spacious for our group of 12. The kids had plenty of room to play. The hot tub was very clean and hot when we arrived. We were greeted promptly by a Big Sky member upon arrival and they went over everything we needed to know about the house and the amenities. The views are spectacular. We even had deer out our door a few evenings. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to others.

We had three families together. There was plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. Property was clean and properly stocked for what we needed. We saw moose right near the cabin. Plenty of activities/attractions near by and not a bad drive to Yellowstone national park. Whitewater rafting was the group favorite. Also enjoyed horseback riding and trout fishing, all nearby. Call ahead to restraunts to make sure they are open or still serving food. Summer is apparently the slow time and it was hit or miss to find somewhere open. Management service did a good job prior to check in to make sure we had the information we needed.

Group of nine men who ski every year at different resorts enjoyed 35 White Otter Cabin more than any location we have visited, Big Sky exceeds all expectations as a destination. House is ideal for dedicated skiers, families or couples who want to relax. Very close to Big Sky base with shuttle provided, White Otter lift used every day by some of group to access mountain, easy ski access.Book Big Sky staff are excellent!

We loved this cabin! Beautiful views! We saw moose both in the morning and evening. We all where excited for that also fox and several large deer with huge anglers I loved getting up in am and sitting on the deck. So quiet and peaceful. Oh my and the beautiful pictures I got of the moon and the beautiful Big Sky . Breath taking for sure. The Big Sky staff are so friendly and very helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend Big Sky mountain rental for your vacation spot. Cabin was wonderful, our grand kids had lots of room and lots of adventure out side. Again The staff at Big sky are so helpful, caring and friendly. If we needed anything they where right there . I can't say enough. Great service. Cabin was beyond our expectations! Thank you for making our family memories a very pleasant and happy ones for many years to come. We will be coming back , hopefully soon!

Our stay at the White Otter cabin was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations and of course the scenery. The cabin met all of our expectations and was not a problem in housing our five children and grandchildren. It was everything it said it was in the description provided. The Big Sky Vacation Rental Team was very responsive when we made a few calls to them while on our stay as well as their constant contact before our arrival to provide valuable information. We felt very much at home with our stay and comfortable knowing this Team was there if we needed anything. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a great meeting place for some of our family in Washington and some in South Dakota to meet up. There was a total of 14 of us and there was plenty of space. Nice and remote , but still not to far to go to different places. Everything was in great condition. Called to have our garbage picked up mid week and was promptly picked up. We seen our friendly deer friend daily and some family even seen a bear a couple of roads down. Great place to relax, see nature, and enjoy time with the family. I would diffently go back!

I stayed in this home with a group of girlfriends for a long weekend getaway. I would absolutely return here every time I visit Big Sky. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The location is private, yet you are able to ski in and out no matter what level of skier you are. The views are spectacular from inside the house and on the deck in the afternoon sun The hot tub was wonderful and we used it every day of our stay. This would be a great place to bring a few families for a ski vacation. The sleeping loft is perfect for a group of kids and has a game area where they can hang out, away from the adults if they want. Another thing I should point out: Many of the friends in our group were able to plug in and get work done via the home's wifi each morning before we hit the slopes. Absolutely no problems with the technology if that is something you might need to utilize during your stay. Overall, the owners have done a great job of creating and maintaining a great vacation home. Thank you!

We used this home for a girls weekend. It was a beautiful, clean, comfortable space to socialize. There was plenty of space for us. I stayed in the loft with 2 other ladies and it was a great place to sleep. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing. We used the ski in/ski out feature for Big Sky. We returned for lunch no problem. We did a 10 min drive to the base for Moonlight for a day of skiing. Both resorts are great skiing. I loved this vacation and the lodging! Also I had to leave a day early and there was a shuttle service that picked me up from the home and drove me to the airport - very slick. I will definitely use this home again and recommend to my friends!

This was a great place to stay and be close to 2 ski areas and amenities. I vacationed here with my husband and a group of friends. We had plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other. The house is neat, clean, and very kid-friendly. The bedrooms and living spaces were very nicely decorated and had comfortable places to lounge. The views from the house, deck and hot tub are fantastic, It was great to spend a day skiing and come home to a relaxing hot tub. The house is in a convenient location between Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. It is a short drive to Moonlight. Even better, it is a short walk or ski to the lift that takes you right to Big Sky. Having a wonderful place to stay and be able to ski in and ski out was the best. It makes it nice for everyone. We had a fun time walking from the Big Sky base back to the house when we went out one evening. It was an easy walk, just too far with skis. We loved coming here to ski and relax, I would recommend this place to stay! This place had everything we wanted and needed for a great vacation.

This home had everything we were looking for when we arrived for our first ski trip out west. The views were breathtaking! The hot tub was refreshing and much needed after a full day of skiing! The floor plan was very open and provided excellent areas for entertaining, but also included areas for privacy and solitude to recharge our batteries before hitting the great outdoors again. The ski in/out feature was a feature that we loved because it provided people in our party with flexibility to come and go as they pleased. It's an easy drive to Yellowstone and very close to shops (and sales!) in the mountain village. Be smart while you drive down the driveway and into the garage " we almost forgot we had our Thule carrier on top of our SUV and were just inches away from an accident! We absolutely would return to this home! The price was right, and we highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to the Big Sky or Yellowstone areas!

We had every level and age of skiers, friends visiting, different timetables and events going on and the room for everyone to have their own space at the same time. Wow. This gorgeous mountain home was perfect for our family! The views are breathtaking, the home is charming and beautifully designed with great spaces for conversing by the fire, playing games in the loft, and relaxing in the lower lever family room. The hot tub was a wonderful treat. Also, the location was great for a short ski to the nearby lift to Big Sky. We will be back!

I stayed at this home over Spring Break, and it was great! The home was very nice and spacious - perfect for a families with kids and extended families. We comfortably fit 14 people. It was also very convenient for skiing, you just ski down the road which brings you to the chairlift to Big Sky! It was so close we even came home for lunch and went back out. The home is also near Moonlight - although you have to drive a short way to get there. I definitely would recommend this home as it's really practical and has great views!

My extended family spent a week skiing at Big Sky and loved this ski in/ski out location. It was easy for the kids (teens) to jump on the chair and safely be at the resort in no time. We felt so comfortable knowing that they had the freedom to get to and from the ski hills. The house was perfect for our family and accommodated everyone! The kids loved the loft area to spread out! The kitchen and large dining table was a perfect place to share stories of our day and play games. Love this place and will make it an annual trip!

We loved the house.. Everything was awesome. I do want to share it is absolutly a ski in ski out. We were told that you werent sure how easy it was so we didnt try. We drove over everyday. Our last day our College kids gave it a whirl and boy we wish we had sooner. It is all green very easy and actually one of nicest ski's green we did. So encourage people who stay there to use that method.. Its awesome

Property: Our rental was great had lots of space, we had 6 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Snowed everyday and were able to do sledding with the kids right at the cabin and relax in the hot tub in the evening. Left behind one of the kids stuffed animals, it was found and is now on its way to us. We would use Big Sky Vacation Rental again

Property Manager: Big sky vacation rentals stayed in touch giving us precise details regarding location and check in/ checkout details. Property: We loved the easy check in and check out. They were very attentive to any needs we had. The house was was very spacious sleeping 12 adults very comfortably. We were even able to entertain family that live in the meadows 1 night. Our kids loved the fireplace and wood burning stove. Plenty of space to have 3 different games going on. We had a little difficulty skiing in the end of first day but quickly learned our way. Follow white otter lift. We had several non skiers that enjoyed shopping the meadows and town square. Would highly recommend Olive Bs for lunch. And of course blue moon bakery and pizza. Moonlight had amazing skiing and much less crowded

Property Manager: The team went above and beyond to make our stay great. Meeting us onsite shortly after arrival to review policies and see that we were settled in was a nice touch. When a member of our group (3 year old) broke his leg on slopes, the President of the company called us personally to assist with getting him to a peds orthopedic and offered to help in any way. Great, fantastic, customer service. Property: Excellent stay in White Otter 35. Our two families felt right at home in this very clean and well-stocked home. Great location to lifts, lots of room outside for the kids to build snow-forts and sled, and a hot tub to take the aches and pains out of the days skiing! The Big Sky staff were exceptional. Cannot say enough good about their hospitality and professionalism. We will definitely be back.

Property: Great house in a great location that perfectly accommodated 9 guys on our annual ski trip. Big Sky Vacation Rentals was very pleasant to work with and their assistance in delivering our lift tickets and shipped skis to the house was a major convenience that helped us save time and allowed us to maximize our time on the mountain from day one. Very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions of which areas of Big Sky to take advantage of.

Property Manager: By far the best rental experience I've had with a property management company. They were incredibly attentive and hospitable. When we started having trouble with the hot tub on the 2nd night they had someone over in less than 30 minutes to fix it. The house was perfect for our group of 11, and you couldn't ask for a better location in proximity to the mountain. The walk to and from the access lift is very short. Another nice touch was the lift ticket pickup. Get in touch with the concierge before your arrival and they'll deliver your lift tickets to the house ahead of you free of charge. It made things much easier.

Property Manager: All positive for dealing with rental members. They even came when we checked in to make sure we were all set & to see if we had any questions. Great company. Property: The cabin is picturesque. The yard is filled with daisies and the mountain views are spectacular. There is a small creek down the hill a ways & my kids loved exploring it. Every evening we saw deer in the yard. The patio is great with lots of seating. Can't beat a soak in the nice hot tub either! There are plenty of bedrooms & the kids loved the loft area. The property feels remote yet It's close to mountain village & town. There are awesome hikes close by, I highly recommend the Beehive Basin Hike. The views are stunning!
